An Act of Sadaqah Jariyah

Sadaqah Jariyah, or ongoing charity, is a significant concept in Islamic teachings and cultures due to its enduring benefits. It generates continuous rewards for the giver, such as constructing wells, schools, or planting trees. This act of giving represents sustained goodness, as individuals accumulate good deeds for as long as the service remains operational.

This act of giving becomes a spiritual investment, offering blessings even after the giver’s passing. The concept also embodies a legacy of assistance, as projects like building educational institutions or healthcare facilities create a ripple effect that benefits not only the current generation but also future generations. This perpetuation of positive impact establishes a legacy of good deeds that persistently aids society.

Sadaqah Jariyah is believed to attract divine blessings, known as Barakah, and individuals seek to contribute to the betterment of the world by engaging in ongoing charity. These charitable endeavours address practical needs in society, positively impacting many lives in meaningful and enduring ways. Practicing ongoing charity nurtures the virtues of generosity, kindness, and compassion, setting an example for others and encouraging a culture of giving that benefits society at large.

Help Noor Ul Islam in the final stages of our Project Rebuild with your Sadaqah Jariyah!

“As for those who believed and did good, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is the absolute triumph.”
