Pakistan Floods

Pakistan Floods Appeal

Monsoon rains have caused devastating floods in Pakistan, leaving millions homeless, destroying buildings, bridges and roads and leaving a third of the country under water.

Over a thousand people have been killed and more than 6 million are in desperate need, with conditions expected to worsen as rains continue.

The floods have damaged more than a million homes, swept away entire villages, livelihoods, crops, schools and roads. People urgently need food, clean drinking water and shelter.

António Guterres UN Secretary General has described the floods in Pakistan as a “climate catastrophe”.
