The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah have been singled out especially for great merits and excellence like no other days in the Islamic calendar. Allah, in His infinite wisdom and mercy, has chosen to dispense infinite spiritual blessing and rewards. Let us make the most of these days by engaging in acts of worship and doing good deeds to earn these rewards.
“There are no days during which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” Bukhari
We will have a specially designed carpet for our new building, in both the men’s and women’s prayer hall. The Prayer Carpet will complement the modern visuals of the whole building.
Men’s hall: 512m²
Women’s hall: 336m²
We are hoping to raise £84,800 to fund the carpet. That’s £100 per square metre.
Alhumdulillah, to date, £25,000 has been already raised for the men’s hall.
We are asking our kind supporters to donate at least £100 and help pay for 1m² of carpet in the prayer hall, covering 250m².
The new wonderful dome that will sit on top of our new building will be 13 metres in diameter and 5 metres high. It will be constructed of hollow aluminium box sections, prefabricated by welding off-site into segments and then craned into position before being bolted together on-site.
The cost of the dome is £65,000.
We are looking for 1000 donors to donate £65 each to help cover the cost of this amazing feature.
Any additional funds raised over the cost of these items will be used in the construction of the rest of the building.
Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked, "What deeds are loved most by Allah?" He said, "The most regular constant deeds even though they may be few."
