The mosque provides a range of services, including daily prayers, Islamic education, and community support. Due to ongoing renovations, facilities are currently limited, and there are no provisions for sisters to pray.

Jummah Giving

Giving your charity on Jummah carries more virtue than other day.

“The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created and on it he was made to enter Paradise. On Friday, also, Adam was expelled from Paradise. And the [last] hour (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) will take place on no day other than Friday.” (Muslim)

Sunnahs of Jummah

  • Clipping Nails
  • To have a bath
  • To use miswaak and attar
  • To wear clean clothes
“Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer” (Surah al-A’raf (7): 31)
  • Recite Surah Al-Kahf
“Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on the day of Jummah, will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.” [al-Bayhaqi]
  • Send Durood and Blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) abundantly
Rasulallah (Pbuh) is reported to have said, “Recite Durood upon me in abundance on the day of Jummah since they are presented to me.” (Ibn Majah)
  • Making abundant du’a. The day of Jumu’ah includes an hour during which all supplications are accepted. Abu Hurayrah, narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), said:
“On (the day of) Jumu’ah is an hour during which Allah gives to a Muslim servant standing in prayer whatever he asks for.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

Jummah Blessings

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“The best day the sun rises over is Friday. On it Allah created Adam. On it he was made to enter paradise, on it he was expelled from it, and the Last Hour will take place on no other day than Friday.” [Ahmad and At-Tirmidhi].
