Ramadan 2025

Noor Ul Islam's Ramadan

Rediscover the spirit of
Ramadan as it used to be

Ramadan this year will be very different. Let us rediscover the spirit of Ramadan – Simplicity.

Without the masjid and the community, we will need to find an alternative mechanism to keep our Iman strong.

Ramadan at the time of the Sahaba would look very different. No large community iftars, no taraweeh. They would pray Esha in the masjid and then return to their homes to pray Qiyaam ul layl.

This is a time for us to reconnect on a personal level with our Lord and creator. Understand the purpose of Ramadan, increase our tawakul, re-evaluate our duas, read and contemplate the Quran. Spend time in our homes with our families and loved ones, learn together and pray together.

RAMADAN APPEAL
Noor Ul Islam is still helping the community but urgently need your support.

Please donate £125 or whatever you can to our Ramadan appeal.
PROJECT REBUILD

Now that our masjid is shut due to Coronavirus we are relying on your donations more than ever to get us towards our completion target.

FIDYA

Fidya must be paid to feed the poor to compensate for each day of fasting missed out or necessity such as illness. We recommend £4 per day missed.

ZAKAT

Donate your zakat towards the countries we are supporting that are affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. Your donation will be used to help those in desperate need.

FITRA

Help feed the people severely impacted by Coronavirus during this Ramadan. We will be partnering with Muslim Charity to ensure your Fitra goes to those in need. (£4 per person)
